This evening event is for garment sewists to meet and share their handmade outfits over cocktails. Set in the beautiful private function room of Seco Lounge bar and restaurant in Royal William Yard, the ticket price includes a welcome drink, finger buffet, photographer, music, exclusive Make at 140 sewing goodie bag, and a complementary raffle ticket for a chance to win some fantastic sewing prizes. Saturday 25th April 2020, 1900-2300. 40 places available, £35/ticket.
The daytime .......... We are also offering a separate same day relaxed day retreat for those wanting a day dedicated to sewciable sewing, on any sewing project of your choosing. This is set in the fantastic Ocean studio workroom at Royal Willian Yard, and attendees will have a 15% discount to use in the co-located Make at 140 shop for the event weekend (a great opportunity to top up your fabric and pattern stash, so if you don’t already have a sewing project on the go you could start something new)! Saturday 25th April, 0930-1630, lunch and refreshments included. 20 places available, £35/ticket.
You will need to bring your own sewing machine, thread and project, but we have a large range of sewing accessories available to use including irons/ironing boards/scissors/tape measures etc. If you don’t want to bring your own machine we have 4 Brother sewing machines available to hire, this is on a first come first served basis so please contact us when booking to check availability.
