What you will learn: you will learn lots of basic information about hand embroidery, for example we’ll talk about supplies, transfer methods, how to prepare hoops and threads. You will also learn 6 easy stitches (back stitch, stem stitch, detached chain stitch, french knot, woven wheel rose stitch and satin stitch) to give life to your projects. We’ll start stitching together a floral original design, and I will give you all the information to finish your project home.

What you will need: patience :) embroidery is a slow craft!

What we will supply: a full embroidery kit including cotton fabric, hoop, needles, threads, instructions booklets. Other supplies will be availabe on the day (scissors and threaders).

Level: novice/beginner, no previous experience is needed.

Please note we try to calculate how long a workshop will be and plan to finish each garment in the allocated time but this isn’t always possible, If you are unable to finish in the workshop time we will make sure you are confident with your garment to be finished at home.

We need a minimum of 4 people for this workshop go ahead, if this number isn’t achieved by one week before we will be contacting you with an alternative date, if you are unable to re-schedule, we offer a full refund. Myself and my daughter came in to choose a pattern to get us back into sewing again.
