Join the resurgence of the historic English Paper Piecing hand sewing technique. This addictive and portable craft can be used to make patchwork for all manner of items from large quilts to small bags and accessories. It is a fantastic way to use up any cotton scraps. Designs can vary in scale and complexity and can be arranged to create patterns or images.

What you will learn: Learn how to wrap and join basic EPP shapes to create a pattern. Select from several project choices which give the option of finishing the project on the day or leaving with the skills to finish the project at home.

What you will need:

X 4 fat quarter of fabric in complimentary colours and patterns and/or 100% cotton scraps (approx 14 10x10cm multiple squares with at least 1 fat quarter) or a mixture of both.

Thread – Any colour thread for wrapping plus ideally a few different colours which match the fabric for joining.

Sewing machine with zipper foot. (If you need to use on of ours please advise at the time of booking)

Myself and my daughter came in to choose a pattern to get us back into sewing again.
