The beauty of a Roman Blind lies in its simple, tailored appearance. When raised, the pleated folds lie nearly on top of each other, resembling a soft, layered pelmet. When let down, the blind if flat and uncluttered.

The secret to Roman blinds is knowing how to calculate the measurements so that the blind draws up evenly. The lining is very important as all the work is done on this rather than the blind fabric.

In this workshop, you will be taken through the steps one by one and you will sew the lining and first then attach it to the blind fabric. You will be shown how to then complete the attachments.

Please note that this will be sample lined Roman blind, which you will then have the skills to transfer to projects in the future with your own fabrics etc.
